Storm recovery services typically include two components. First, utilities rely on supplemental workers and resources to help manage and coordinate utility vegetation and line crews, many of which are from outside the service territory or out of state. This may include checking in work crews at the staging site, managing tickets or work orders, and accompanying crews as they do work to ensure it is performed safely and accurately. Second, storm recovery services include damage assessments of vegetation, lines, or other assets to identify and prioritize work required to most efficiently restore power and improve reliability.
When a storm approaches, Davey Resource Group, Inc. (DRG) communicates with the client to anticipate needs and build the most appropriate storm roster of personnel who can immediately travel to the needed location. Once on-site, DRG personnel quickly act on assigned duties. Additionally, we can utilize the Davey ResourceKeeper software to help with data collection and reporting.
Unlike the competition, DRG can provide a large number of people for both vegetation and asset management needs as we have an extensive nationwide team that reliably delivers safe and efficient work.
