Setting The Standard For Wetland Restoration
Davey Resource Group, Inc. (DRG) was contracted by the National Park Service (NPS) to provide a construction management representative (CMR) for the Watergate Wetlands Restoration Project at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (DEWA).
The CMR maintained daily on-site presence and interaction with contractors, subcontractors, and NPS personnel to streamline and coordinate work activity. The CMR maintained daily progress logs, inspected daily work, and documented and reported on work activity to ensure accuracy with design and compliance with permit requirements. This effort involved routine contact and coordination with the design engineers, project contracting team, site superintendent, contractor engineer, and various specialized on-site monitoring for archeological and biological concerns. The CMR also reviewed contractor pay requests, collaborated with the design team on existing conditions, addressed vegetation management and installation questions, and organized and led weekly progress meetings with the entire project team.
