Everett, WA
DRG conducted a Level 2 Tree Risk Assessment on 65 trees along Colby Avenue in Everett, WA, evaluating tree health and risk ratings. The subsequent report guides tree removal, retention, and care.
A Thorough Inspection
Davey Resource Group, Inc. (DRG) conducted a Level 2 Tree Risk Assessment on 65 trees in the median of Colby Avenue between 10th and 19th Street in Everett, WA. An ISA-certified arborist performed the assessment on May 1, 2024. The evaluation considered tree location, size, current condition, and overall health. Based on the collected data, risk ratings were assigned to each tree, guided by the ISA’s Tree Risk Assessment Manual and a 3-year risk assessment timeframe.
DRG previously assessed the same trees during the week of October 14, 2019, when a DRG ISA-certified arborist and qualified tree risk assessor evaluated them. Some of the trees have since been removed. The tree identification numbers assigned to standing trees were reused in this report for consistency in record keeping. New tree identification numbers were given to the newly planted trees.
Data As The Decision-Maker
The determinations and recommendations from both assessments were specific to the conditions at the time of evaluation and cannot predict the ultimate outcomes for the trees. However, they serve as valuable information for decisions regarding tree removal or retention with restorative pruning and plant health care.
