Davey Tree crews were on-site weekly at Presidio Landmark, a unique luxury housing location that puts environmentally friendly practices at the forefront of their landscaping needs.
Presidio Landmark is a unique community of apartments in San Francisco. Located in the scenic Presidio National Park, just five minutes to city attractions like Crissy Field and the Golden Gate Bridge. Presidio Landmark’s apartments are housed in a former military base and VA hospital, and the building was converted into apartments in 2010.
Starting in 2017, Davey Tree has helped keep up Presidio Landmark’s luxurious standards by tending to their landscaping needs. Crews were on-site weekly performing turf maintenance services like mowing and edging, hedge pruning, irrigation repairs and installation, mulching, and flower pot planting.
Presidio Landmark is a LEED-certified facility that takes sustainability and environmental consciousness to heart. While on site, Davey crews avoided chemicals by skipping herbicide spraying and using organic fertilizers and living soils to fortify the property’s soil. Landscape crews collaborated with local Davey arborists to provide Presidio with complete grounds management on the property from a single point of contact.
Presidio Landmark was one of six properties throughout Presidio National Park taken care of by Davey Tree, a proud partner upholding the national parks’ goals of protecting the natural landscapes for the benefit of future generations.
