Celebration HOA
An 18-person Davey crew used innovative, holistic, on-site partnerships to level up this homeowner association’s sense of community through well-groomed, aesthetically pleasing landscapes.
Located within the Kissimmee, Florida area, this cluster of villages relies on beautiful, well-groomed landscapes to help foster a sense of real community. Front-porch landscapes, neighborhood parks, and oversized medians invite residents to gather together as both friends and neighbors.
Founded in 1996, this small-town community features villages, neighborhood parks, sports fields, and acres of tree-lined streets, which are home to single- and multi-family homes, clubhouses, and gazebos. Maintaining the character of a modern-day, front-porch look and feel requires a dedicated crew of landscape industry professionals, carefully planned maintenance and renovation efforts, as well as honest, open communication. With five active areas, 52 parks/medians, and seven different villages, executing this project is equivalent to caring for and maintaining the outdoor space of a small city.
Davey was given the challenge to live up to—and exceed—the high standards and restrictions of this renowned community, while ensuring that grounds maintenance and landscaping services stay behind-the-scenes. Other challenges include dealing with varying village personalities, both human and horticultural; keeping activity areas well-groomed in spite of heavy use; and dealing with plant health concerns created by maturing landscape trees, foot traffic, and child’s play.
An 18-person professional landscape team takes an innovative, holistic, and on-site partnership approach to service delivery. Sustainability, timing, and potential impact inform all decision-making, as does create solutions that celebrate this community’s unique space. Weekly review meetings and educational sessions with parks area and service managers pre-empt issues and help resolve problems quickly.
