Municipality
Davey Resource Group, Inc. used a supersonic airtool to examine the tree root system and diagnose the cause of decline for a memorial tree located in Shrewsbury, MA.
Transportation
Davey Resource Group performed wetland delineations and a number of environmental studies along a 30-mile highway corridor for the Tappan Zee Bridge replacement project. Environmental studies included upland terrestrial habitat mapping and various endangered and threatened species studies.
Education
Davey Resource Group turned a tree planting into an interactive experience with K-4 students at Walter J. Paton Elementary by allowing the kids to participate in the planting while Davey experts explained the process.

Using sound and visual inspection methods, DRG assessed utility poles to help Southeastern Electric Cooperative prioritize pole replacements throughout their system
Electric Investor-Owned Utility
DRG assists SDG&E with its Sustainable Tree Program, a tree planting program that helps the utility reach its goal of planting 10,000 trees annually.
Non-Profit
Treesilience, a national initiative launched in 2020, partners with The Nature Conservancy, USDA Forest Service, Davey Tree Expert Company, and community-based organizations to enhance urban tree canopy. In St. Louis County, Treesilience managed tree maintenance in underserved areas.
Wolf Tree, Inc. carefully planned and executed a clearing project in an area with various terrain and vegetation challenges, allowing the city of Morganton, North Carolina to connect the Burke County Industrial Park to their power system.
Municipality
DRG planted and performed aftercare services on 611 trees in Quincy, MA as part of the Greening the Gateway Program. Thanks to the expertise of DRG’s crews, the tree mortality rate was under 5%.
Non-Profit
Beyond Housing, aided by an EPA grant, aimed to enhance community forestry in 24:1 area communities. They partnered with DRG to conduct a tree canopy assessment, produce tailored reports, and develop visual tools for local planning, emphasizing equity and community engagement.
Transportation
Davey Resource Group prepared several surveys, assessments, and all the necessary permitting for the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration to ensure any potential environmental impacts made by a causeway replacement project were mitigated.
