Parks & Trails
Davey Resource Group was selected to perform engineering and construction services for erosion control and channel stabilization in the Sand Run Metro Park, impacting over 7,000 linear feet of stream and improving fish habitat.

Davey Resource Group oversaw construction and post-construction of the Lakes Creek Wetland Mitigation Bank to help Atlantic County, NJ, receive compensatory wetland mitigation credits for bridge replacement and construction projects.
Mitigation Banking
Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. constructed and monitored a 230-acre wetland bank in Prince William County, Virginia which was approved as successful by the USACE in 2005.
Municipality
Davey Resource Group helped Ottawa County Landfill in Ohio restore wetlands on a previously farmed site as part of a regulation compliance with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Ohio EPA.
Municipality
Severe erosion of 125 feet of streambank in Bath Township, OH was threatening an adjacent stormwater management basin. DRG used bioengineering methods to stabilize the streambank and provide in-stream habitat while preventing future erosion.
Natural Gas/Pipeline
Davey Tree’s Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. stabilizes streams to help protect the natural gas pipeline of a client.
Military Base/Military Family Housing
Davey Resource Group performed baseline environmental investigations and prepared permits to help the Department of Defense expand several sites in the Marine Corps Base at Camp Lejeune, Onslow County, NC.
Cemetery
WSSI was part of the Arlington National Cemetery Millennium Project team. As part of the project, they designed and permitted the stream restoration component that was an integral part and focal point of the aesthetic layout of the expansion.
Residential/Mixed Use
DRG oversaw the restoration of a portion of Little Six Mile Creek on a private residential property. The restoration involved excavating a new channel, seeding with approved grass and wetland seeds, and planting shrubs. The project was completed successfully and will undergo ongoing monitoring.
Transportation
Davey Resource Group prepared several surveys, assessments, and all the necessary permitting for the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration to ensure any potential environmental impacts made by a causeway replacement project were mitigated.
