John Platt

John Platt is a regional operations manager with Davey Resource Group. He has been working in arboriculture and natural resource consulting since 2004 and currently oversees operations in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. John has experience in residential and commercial tree care and has worked with federal, state, and local governments, as well as private and non-profit organizations to improve and sustain their natural resources. He has experience with urban tree inventories, tree health and condition assessments, tree preservation, and invasive pest management.

John has a bachelor’s degree in forest and natural resource management from the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He is an ISA-certified arborist and municipal specialist, ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualified, and a licensed commercial pesticide applicator.
