John Markel

John Markel joined Davey in 2015 as a project developer. In this role, John specializes in asset management inspections and joint use management for electrical utilities. Using a unique approach and proactive technologies, John helps utilities manage all types of infrastructure, including transmission and distribution overhead and underground infrastructures. He works hand-in-hand with utility reliability teams, engineers, and asset managers, and also oversees client satisfaction nationally with companies such as Oncor Electric Delivery, FirstEnergy, Oklahoma Gas & Electric, Duke Energy, and several other major IOU's across the utility industry. John has a bachelor’s degree in marketing management and sales management from the University of Akron.
