Joe Vanella

Joe joined Davey in 2021 as a consulting utility forester in Charleston, WV. He was quickly recognized as a leader and was designated a team lead, providing operational support to fellow team members. He has since been promoted to project manager. In his role, Joe oversees the West Virginia distribution and transmission project for American Electric Power. In 2024, his team designed and executed an in-depth crew efficiency tracking program that has since been implemented by several other operations. He is passionate about helping his team members grow and learn to be more effective and successful, and developing a culture where everyone has value and equity in the workplace.
