Kent, Ohio – Davey Resource Group, Inc. (DRG), a subsidiary of The Davey Tree Expert Company, has announced the acquisition of ReadyReef in southeastern Virginia to its Native Shorelines team, a division of DRG’s Davey Mitigation group. 
Since 2015, ReadyReef has provided living shorelines, based on native systems of oysters and marsh grasses, along with shoreline remediation/erosion control to clients in southeastern Virginia. With the acquisition, ReadyReef will continue its services as part of DRG’s Native Shorelines.
“We are eager to expand on ReadyReef’s industry knowledge and exceptional client service by joining the Davey family,” said Christopher Davis, co-owner of ReadyReef. “DRG's team of experts and resources will help us continue to expand our services to best serve the needs of current and future clients.”
