CLEVELAND, Ohio — Four-time All-Star José Ramírez has partnered with Guardians Charities and the City of Cleveland to provide a new turf baseball and softball field in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood. The facility, which is already under construction, is set to debut in the spring of 2023.
The $2.7 million renovation is part of the Fields for the Future project under the auspices of Cleveland Guardians Charities.
The Davey Tree Expert Company has committed to planting up to 30 trees at the site in its as part of its ongoing Swing for the Trees initiative. Davey Tree pledged to plant a tree for every Guardians home run hit this season, currently more than 90.
