Kent, Ohio – Davey Resource Group (DRG), a subsidiary of The Davey Tree Expert Company, is proud to announce the appointment of Jim Zwack to vice president and general manager, DRG, Environmental Consulting and Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc. (WSSI).

Zwack started with Davey in 2010 as director of technical services within the Davey Institute, Davey’s premier tree research laboratory. In 2017, he was promoted to general manager and in 2019 to vice president and general manager, all for the Davey Institute.
Zwack holds a bachelor’s degree in urban forestry from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in tree physiology from Iowa State University. He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and is a trustee emeritus for the TREE Fund, an organization that supports scientific research, education and scholarships in arboriculture and urban forestry.
