Davey Canada Names Deathe to Market Manager

Kent, Ohio – The Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited, is proud to announce the promotion of Chris Deathe to market manager for the Hamilton, Brantford, Niagara and Burlington Residential/Commercial (R/C) operations in Ontario, Canada.  

“Chris has proven himself a leader with remarkable tenacity to deliver sustainable results while constantly striving to remain innovative,” said Dylan Glazer, vice president of operations, Canadian residential operations. “Throughout Chris’ Davey career, he has built a reputation for customer excellence and employee experience. His new appointment as market manager will expand the impact of his capabilities within the organization.”  

Deathe joined Davey in 1998 as a salesperson and was soon promoted to assistant district manager of the Mississauga office in 1999. He was then promoted in 2004 to district manager of the newly created Hamilton office.  

Deathe is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist® and a 1998 graduate of the Davey Institute of Tree Sciences (D.I.T.S.), which is Davey’s flagship training program in biological sciences, safety, tree and plant care and management techniques. Deathe is a past member of the Davey President’s Council, a rotating team of managers who meet semiannually for management development and to share ideas to improve the company. He is also a graduate of Humber College.
